Overdenture treatment precludes the inevitability of “floating plastic” in edentulous mouths. It is an effective and versatile way of restoring teeth and improving facial contours. This case report presents an insight on utilizing a new innovative ‘Access post overdenture’ system which provides more advantages than any other passive overdenture post. It's patented thick walled hollow tube design, stabilizing flange and undercuts of the shank offer strength, retention and stability with the added insurance policy of retreatability. The access post overdenture fabricated was well retentive and esthetic serving as a conservative approach to root preservation.
